Maruti’s premium hatchback, the Baleno, has crossed the 4-lakh-unit sales mark in our country. THe car was launched in October 2015 and Maruti achieved this feat in under three years.
The Baleno sold 44,697 units in the first six months of FY16. In FY17, sales grew to 1,20,804 units while FY18 saw a rise of 58 percent in Baleno sales, to 1,90,480 units. In FY18 the company sold 39,810 units up until May. The Nexa network stands at 300 showrooms as of today.
The Baleno is the Nexa outlet’s best seller. The car has remained unchanged and there is a facelift that is expected next year.
