The Tata Motors pavilion at Auto Expo 2020 has been planned and designed to provide guests with an interactive experience in addition to product exhibits. Customers attending the hall will engage in games with the aid of an immersive digital interface and have a chance to win an exciting experience. The organization also took steps including going paperless as part of its recycling campaign and raised the green cover at the pavilion. Given the growing community of start-ups, Tata Motors will also use this forum to engage with the start-up communities and crowdsource them.

The state-of - the-art ' Advance Power Systems Technology Tech Center ' at its Engineering Research Center (ERC) Pune, has played a key role in the technology, testing and development of powertrain technologies for its product portfolio, including extensive electrification, for the BSVI transition. The company has streamlined its portfolio with enhanced features rather than limiting the scope to emission migration alone, offering enhanced performance and value-added enhancers for the benefit of customers. With its full range of drivetrain options, including gasoline, diesel & CNG engines for BSVI emission standards electric, automatic and automated manual transmissions, the business is ready.

Talking about the transition, Tata Motors, President & CTO, Mr Rajendra Petkar said, "The Tata Motors team has worked tirelessly towards a smooth transition to the BSVI regime. We have designed and engineered our products with the customer at the center of our plans, taking into account the duty cycles and growing aspirations. We will be introducing more than 100 lead models with over 1000 variants from January 2020 onwards. These will cover combinations of powertrain, body styles, chassis configurations plus connected, electrical, shared, and security imbibing technologies. Significant front loading of activities, the use of digital product development tools and early involvement of globally reputable technology & supplier partners have helped us accelerate portfolio migration.
