Tata Produces 10,000th Nexon from its Factory

About 75 percent of the total number of Nexons are diesels.

The company has officially manufactured its 10,000th model of the Nexon from its Ranjangaon plant in Pune. The Nexon has so far registered sales of 5,871 units, of which 4,366 are diesel cars and 1,505 are petrols till end-October.

The top-spec XZ+ trim has seen the highest demand so far and commands a waiting period of eight weeks. This version comes fitted with LED daytime running lamps, an optional dual-tone roof, a 6.5-inch touchscreen and alloy wheels. The dual-tone blue and red paint shades are the most sought after, while in the single-tone shade options, the silver and grey are the most popular.

The car is available with a 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and a 110hp, 1.5-litre diesel, fitted to a six-speed manual gearbox. Tata will introduce an AMT version as well soon.
