Thupakki came out in 2012, the movie earned over $14 million in just 11 days of its release. Starring Thalapathy Vijay with Kajal Aggarwal as the leading lady, Thuppaki earned rave reviews for its storytelling and action sequences. The movie was exceptional for its action sequences with the actor spotted riding a Royal Enfield motorcycle. BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine with an electronic fuel injection system. The engine churns out 19.1 bhp of maximum power and 28 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. BS6 Classic 350 comes in eight colour options - Mercury Black (Single-Channel ABS), Redditch Red, Pure Black (Single-Channel ABS), Classic Black, Classic Chestnut Black, Ash, Silver and Mercury Silver. Released in 2018, written and directed by acclaimed AR Murugadoss. The movie tells the story of Sundar Ramaswamy, a non-resident Indian (NRI) played by Vijay who struggles with corruption in the election. He decides to fight in the election and it portrays the struggles common man faces in his daily life. Vijay's character is spotted driving an Audi Q7 in the movie. Audi Q7 is currently discontinued in the Indian market by the German automaker. Q7 was sold in three engine options - 3.0-litre TFSI Quattro petrol, 3.0-litre TDI Quattro diesel and 4.2-litre TDI Quattro. The petrol variant featured a 6-speed automatic transmission while both the diesel engines were mated to an 8-speed Triptronic gearbox.

In the first five days of release, the movie earned over $14 million, Vijay got critical acclaim for his role. Vijay's character is seen riding the iconic Rajdoot motorcycle with his daughter in the movie. The Rajdoot also commonly referred to as RD, is a two-stroke Yamaha motorcycle produced in India by the Escorts group. Rajdoot 350 came in two variants - High Torque (HT) and Low Torque (LT). High Torque generated 30.5bhp @6750 rpm while the low torque churned out 27 bhp of power. One interesting fact is that we can identify the variant by looking at the engine number. The Engine number of HT begins with 1A1 while LT Starts with 00.
