Tata Motors' electric vehicle division, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, has partnered with up to four Indian EV charge point operators to strengthen the nation's EV charging network. In the next two years, Tata Motors intends to install about 10,000 brand-new electric vehicle charging stations across the nation with the assistance of operators such as ChargeZone, Glida, Statiq, and Zeon. On December 11th, yesterday, the automaker and these charge point operators signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Tata Motors as of now is ranking first as the leading manufacturer in the EV passenger vehicle segment. The automaker is already in the league by selling around 1.15 lakh EVs across the country. Tata currently offers 3 electric cars in its EV lineup that extends their list to Tigor EV, Tiago EV, and Nexon EV. The automaker is anticipated to debut a bare minimum 3 more EVs within the span of one year. And after burgeoning as the leading EV automaker, the company also has one of the biggest EV charging networks across the country with complete support of Tata Powers.
The Memorandum of Understanding signed between Tata Motors and the 4 charge point operators will employ telematics insight from the automakers and decode the strategic positions to place the brand-new EV charging stations. And this means that the carmaker will be able to take support from these operators to install EV chargers at locations where its EV sells in most numbers or is most visited by the Tata’s EV owners of that particular area.

They’re in s sturdy motion to roll out RFID cards which will easily be accessible at any of the charging points operated by any of these companies. Consumers will be able to benefit from loyalty programs along with access to dedicated customer care numbers.
