For those asking, the SDMS-a comprises a plethora of functions such as Power Mode Selector, Engine Brake Control System, Anti-Lift Control System, Motion Track Traction Control System and Bi-Directional Quick Shift System.
Mechanically, the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will be powered by a BS6 compliant 1340cc 4-cylinder petrol engine which will deliver a top power of 187bhp at 9700rpm and peak torque of 150Nm at 7000rpm. The motorcycle is expected to return a mileage of 14-15kmpl. It will be available in two colour schemes namely glass sparkle black with candy burnt gold and sword silver with candy daring red. A few Suzuki dealers in India have even started accepting orders for the bike from March itself with deliveries promised by the first week of May. The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will be brought via the CKD route in India. Besides the Indian market, the bike will also go on sale in select North American and European markets.
