TVS became the first two-wheeler manufacturer in the country to launch a scooter with Bluetooth connectivity. Following the trend, other two-wheeler manufacturers jumped onto the bandwagon and launched their own Bluetooth-enabled scooter.
TVS NTorq 125 is India’s first scooter to feature Bluetooth connectivity. It is priced at Rs 65,975 (ex-showroom) and has been introduced in three variants: Drum, Disc and Race Edition. TVS NTorq 125 is powered by the same 124.8cc engine with a fuel injection system that develops top power of 9.3 bhp @ 7000rpm and peak torque of 10.5Nm @ 5500rpm. The highlight of the scooter is the TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth system which is integrated into the instrument digital console available with 60 features. The two-wheeler has its own app which connects with the SmartXonnect Bluetooth system. The app delivers information related to navigation, battery condition, last parked location assist, and ride status. Connect your smartphone to the vehicle through Bluetooth and get access to all the information through the exclusive rider’s app.
Bajaj Chetak has been priced in the range of Rs 1 lakh - Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in two variants: Urbane and Premium. The iconic scooter offers Smartphone connectivity and can be accessed by the app. The app delivers information related to navigation, tracking, battery condition along with range, and safety updates. Bajaj Chetak Scooetr also caters a ‘feather touch’ switchgear and retractable luggage hook. It sources power from a 7 bhp BLDC electric motor, which gets its power from a 4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack with a torque output of 16 Nm. It comes with two riding modes namely Eco and Sport in which it has a claimed range of 95 kms and 85 kms, respectively between charges.
Ather 450 is priced between Rs 1.13 lakh - Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants namely Ather 450 STD, Ather 450X Plus, and Ather 450 Pro. It comes with Smartphone connectivity. It also features an IP65 rated 7-inch capacitive touchscreen system that boasts of a drop-down menu for all the information regarding the scooter that a rider needs. It comes with an internet-enabled pre-installed SIM card that offers real-time GPS data. Ather 450 is powered by a 7.2 bhp BLDC electric motor, which gets its power from a 2.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The torque output is rated at 20.5 Nm. It has three riding modes namely Eco, Ride, and Sport. While Eco offers 75 kms range, Ride and Sport have claimed a range of 65 kms and 55 kms, respectively.
TVS Jupiter Grande Edition is the only scooter in the 110cc segment to feature Smartphone connectivity. It is priced at Rs 59,999 (ex-showroom). The connectivity system is the same as the one present on TVS NTorq 125. TVS SmartXonnect system allows riders to connect both Android and iOS smartphones to access features like call notification, text notification, over speeding alert, and trip status. TVS Jupitar Grand scooter gets a semi-digital speedometer that caters to a digital fuel indicator, odometer, trip meter, service and helmet reminder. It is powered by a 109.7 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine, that produces 7.9 bhp power and 8.4 Nm of peak torque.

Okinawa’s I-Praise Plus is app-based and is known as the intelligent scooter. It offers incredible power, comes with smartphone connectivity, and a portable battery. It is priced at Rs 1.08 lakhs (ex-showroom). Okinawa I-Praise Plus electric scooter comes with a mobile app launched by the company known as ‘Okinawa Eco’. Through this app, you can easily manage and analyze your trips, battery information, geofencing, driver status, and instant alerts. It is powered by a detachable lithium-ion 3.3 kWh battery and a 1000 watt BLDC motor. The battery comes with an automatic sleep mode.
