Toyota India has achieved a milestone of 4 lakh sales in India for the Etios Series.
The Toyota Etios series which consists of the Etios sedan, Etios Liva hatchback and Etios Cross has been extremely successful in the Indian market and the Japanese automaker has now achieved total sales of 4 lakh units of all 3 models combined.
In the period from April to September 2018, sales of the Etios Liva witnessed a growth of 10% as compared to the same period last year. The Etios was first launched in India in 2011 and since then it has been getting consistent updates in the form of enhanced exteriors and tweaked interiors with added features.
The Etios has been so successful with both private customers as well as fleet operators mainly due to its reliability and no-nonsense character. Toyota India launched the Platinum Etios in 2016 and then the dual-tone Etios Liva was also introduced in our market. In September 2017, Toyota went on to launch the Etios Cross-X.
