Toyota Respect Package includes “a no-cost periodic maintenance” for up to 2 years or 20,000 KMs

Toyota India has introduced a ‘Respect Package’ for the customers pre-booking the Urban Cruiser ahead of its launch in the country. Toyota Respect Package includes “a no-cost periodic maintenance” for up to 2 years or 20,000 KMs, whichever comes earlier. Hence, the people who book Toyota Urban Cruiser before seeing the vehicle or the price will get free maintenance for the subcompact SUV. Toyota Urban Cruiser launch in India will take place on September 24, 2020 while it will take on the likes of Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon.

Commenting on the announcement of the Customer Appreciation Package, Mr. Naveen Soni, Senior Vice President, Sales and Service, TKM, said, “We are truly touched by the response the ‘Opening of Bookings’ for the Urban Cruiser has received, across the country. The Urban Cruiser will be fully revealed in a launch event this festive season, with announcements on the pricing, variants and delivery schedule.”

Toyota Urban Cruiser bookings are open at a token amount of Rs 11,000 through online orders or dealerships. It will flaunt a bold front grille, trapezoidal fog lamps and dual chamber LED projector headlamps with dual function LED DRL-cum–indicators. Riding on 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, it will be available in several paint options including a brown colour. Mechanically, the subcompact SUV will draw power from a BS6 compliant 1.5L 4-cylinder K-Series petrol engine which will be offered with both manual transmission (MT) as well as automatic transmission (AT). All the automatic variants will be equipped with advanced Lithium-Ion battery and an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) as standard.
