Toyota Kirloskar Motor has re-opened bookings for the Innova Hycross ZX and ZX (O) variants in India. The company temporarily stopped the booking process for these two trims of the Innova Hycross in April 2023 due to supply-related challenges. Now, the brand has again commenced bookings for the top-end variants at a new price of INR 30.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The waiting period for the Innova Hycross MPV stretched to almost 2.5 years because of production limitations last year.

Toyota has also reduced the waiting period for the new hybrid trims to 1 year, and for the petrol-only trims, customers must wait for 5 to 6 months. After the price revision, the Hycross Hybrid models now come at a price range of INR 25.97 lakh to INR 30.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The non-hybrid versions of the car are available with the same price range between INR 19.77 lakh and INR 19.82 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, the company also announced that the brand has achieved a 50,000-unit sales milestone for the MPV in the country. The Hycross MPV comes in both 7- and 8-seat configurations. The brand offers the MPV in 12 variants and five trims.

Under the hood, the Innova Hycross ZX and ZX (O) variants are powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine. The unit is paired with a 1.7 kWh Ni-MH battery. The transmission duties are handled by the brand’s e-Drive transmission unit. The 2.0-litre petrol engine can churn out 184 bhp of power and peak torque of 206 Nm. The HyCross variants come with a better fuel efficiency of 23.24 kmpl.

The Japanese automaker is also working on a new GX (O) variant, which will be added to the petrol variant of the Innova Hycross. The GX (O) variant will be placed between the current VX and GX trims. The upcoming variant will come with additional features like a rear window demister, front LED fog lamps, a 360-degree camera, dual-tone seats, a revamped 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with wireless Apple CarPlay compatibility, and front parking sensors.
