The car is fitted with a navigation system and gets minor updates to the cabin.

The 2018 Camry is on sale at a price of Rs. 37.22 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). There are no changes on the outside, but Toyota has tweaked the interior. There is tan-coloured upholstery with a carbon-wood finish on the dashboard, steering wheel, centre console and the door trims. Instead of the four-spoke steering wheel, you now get a three-spoke unit. The touchscreen infotainment system now features navigation and has Bluetooth, USB and Aux-in connectivity.

This unit is hooked up to a 12-speaker audio system. You also get a wireless charging pad, eight-way adjustable front seats with lumbar support, memory function and ventilation, three-zone climate control, and power-reclining rear seats with collapsible headrests. As far as safety is concerned, this car features nine airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, vehicle stability control (VSC), an electronically controlled brake system, hill-start assist control, ISOFIX and top tether anchor for child seats.

Under the hood sits a 2.5-litre, in-line four-cylinder engine that puts out 160hp and 213Nm. It’s hooked up to a hybrid system that uses a 650V synchronous motor to assist the engine. This unit makes 143hp and 270Nm. The hybrid system uses a 245V Nickel-metal hydride battery with a capacity of 6.5Ah.
