The first of three variants of the Street Triple will be launched in India on June 12. The Street Triple S, which is the base variant of the Street Triple range, is powered by the same 765cc, three-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine as the other variants. The S, however, makes 111hp at 11,250rpm and 73Nm at 9,100rpm. The bike comes fitted with a slipper clutch, a ride-by-wire system with two riding modes, ABS and switchable traction control, upside-down separate function forks up front and preload-adjustable monoshock around the back.
Triumph is expected to price this bike between ₹8 lakh and ₹9 lakh (ex-showroom) and will follow this launch with the R and RS variants sometime later this year.
The Apache RTR 160 and RTR 160 4V motorcycles have three riding modes: Urban, Sport, and Rain.
