Triumph Motorcycle is all set to launch the Tiger Sport 660 on March 29 in the country. The adventure motorcycle will be the British bike maker’s new entry-level ADV. Furthermore, it will be replacing the Tiger Sport 850 in the brand’s line-up. Pre-bookings for the ADV have already commenced in December last year at a token amount of Rs 50,000. Also, the bike has been listed on the official website. Once launched, the motorcycle will compete against the likes of Kawasaki Versys650 and Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT.
Triumph Tiger Sport 660 shares its underpinnings with the Trident 660 which is already on sale in India. However, the new model comes with subtle changes in terms of design, subframe, and suspension setup. Cosmetically, the bike features a bigger fuel tank as compared to the Trident. It also gets an aggressive and bold look due to the bigger fairing. Moving on, the new Tiger Sport 660 will be offered in a total of three color options namely Lucerne Blue and Sapphire Black, Korosi Red and Graphite, and a minimalist Graphite and Black.
