Triumph sells the Street Triple in three trims abroad, but only the Street Triple S is currently available in India. Now, the bike maker will soon add to this range with its range topping Street Triple 765 RS.
The bike makes more power and comes with more kit than the standard S. The RS makes 123hp and 77Nm and is fitted with Brembo M50 brakes, commonly seen on high-spec, litre-class superbikes. The company has upgraded the bike’s suspension and added super-sticky, Pirelli Supercorsa tyres, also used on high performance motorcycles.
The visual differences include a rear seat cowl, and a rich, full colour LCD instrument screen facing the rider. The bike also offers five riding modes and multiple viewing modes for the digital display. Expect the Street Triple 765 RS to be priced much higher than the S, which costs ₹8.7 lakh ex-showroom Mumbai. It could be priced at an ex-showroom price at around the ₹10.5-11 lakh mark.
