TVS Motor Company joined hands with Tata Power. Under this strategic partnership, the two companies will be driving the comprehensive implementation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country along with deploying solar power technologies at TVS Motor locations. The basic aim behind this initiative is to accelerate electric mobility in India.
Besides this, the two companies plan to create a regular AC charging network and a DC fast charging network for electric two-wheelers. This partnership will also benefit TVS iQube electric scooter customers as they will be able to access Tata Power charging network through the TVS Motor customer connect app and Tata Power EZ Charge app across India.

The partnership further aims to help drive EV adoption in the country. Both TVS and Tata Power, will be exploring the opportunities to use solar energy to power select TVS Motor locations in their journey towards sustainability. Also, there are plans to expand the presence of TVS iQube Electric in over 25 cities within the next few months. Currently, the electric scooter is on sale in Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Coimbatore, Surat, Jaipur, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Vizag, and Ahmedabad. Tata Power, on the other hand, has an expansive network of over 5000 home chargers along with over 700 public chargers in more than 120 cities across the country.
