TVS Raider 125 is available in drum and disc variants

TVS Motor Company has launched the all-new Raider motorcycle at a starting price of Rs 77,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the country. Being available in drum and disc variants, it will come with four exterior color options namely Striking Red, Blazing Blue, Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow. TVS Raider gets first-in-segment Ride Modes and Reverse LCD Cluster while claimed to have best-in-class acceleration. The all-new 125cc offering will take on the likes of Honda CB Shine, Bajaj Pulsar 125 and Hero Super Splendor in India.


TVS Raider Design & Features

TVS Raider flaunts a sculpted tank profile and aggressive headlamp. It also gets a LED tail lamp cluster along with a wider split seat. The bike is equipped with a Reverse LCD digital speedometer with two ride modes namely Eco and Power. In addition, there is also an optional 5-inch TFT cluster with TVS SMARTXONNECTTM variant, which offers Bluetooth Connectivity, Navigation and Voice Assist. The Raider 125 also boasts of first-in-segment under-seat storage area while some of the other notable features include Side stand indication with engine inhibitor, helmet reminder, and optional USB charger. The suspension duties are carried by a low friction telescopic fork upfront and gas-charged 5-step adjustable mono-shock unit at the rear.

TVS Raider Engine & Performance

TVS Raider is powered by an advanced 124.8 cc air & oil-cooled 3V engine with Ecothrust Fuel injection (ETFi) technology which generates maximum power of 11.2 bhp at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 11.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed gearbox which propels the bike to do a 0-60kmph sprint in merely 5.9 seconds. Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels, the bike has a top speed of 99kmph. The TVS intelliGO (Start/Stop) tech also makes its way in the Raider while accentuating the overall mileage of the bike by intelligently switching off the engine during long idling like traffic signals and other transient stops. The bookings and deliveries of the Raider 125 starts from today.
