TVS X Electric Scooter Features

The X features a PMSM motor with a peak power of 11kW (7kW continuous power) and a peak torque of 40Nm. Braking is managed by a 220mm front disc and a 195mm rear disc. Notably, the X comes with ABS, albeit as a single-channel system, making it the first electric scooter to offer this feature. It rides on 12-inch wheels with a 100-section tire at the front and a 110-section tire at the rear.

Built on the XLETON platform, the TVS X adopts a maxi-style format while maintaining an approachable seat height of 770mm. An interesting feature is the ram-air-cooled Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) which enables the TVS X Scooter to accelerate from 0 to 40kph in just 2.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 105kph. The scooter offers three riding modes – Xtealth, Xtride, and Xonic – along with regenerative braking at different levels.

Additionally, the PlayTech entertainment system allows for watching videos and playing games while stationary. The scooter also includes features like reverse assist, cruise control, and hill-hold functionality.

The design of the TVS X Electric scooter is notably avant-garde, resembling the well-received Creon concept from Auto Expo 2018. Unlike traditional scooters, the X lacks a floorboard, with the frame's spine occupying that space. It also features a split-seat setup, a rarity among scooters. Storage space under the seat measures 19 liters.
