Powering the Volkswagen Passat is a  2.0-litre turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 174 HP and a peak torque of 281 Nm. Mated to this engine is a 6-speed automatic transmission. In India, we get the European version of the Passat which is quite different from this model.
