Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace is expected to be priced around Rs 35 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom).

Volkswagen is all set to launch the Tiguan Allspace on March 6, 2020 in India. Compared to its predecessor, the 2020 new SUV comes with an extended wheelbase and an increase in overall length. All set to discontinue the diesel powertrain, Volkswagen will introduce the Allspace with petrol powertrain only. Competing against the likes of Honda CR-V, Toyota Fortuner & Ford Endeavor, this premium SUV is expected to be priced around Rs 35 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom). Before the launch of the Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, here are a few things to expect from it.

 

Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Engine Specification

Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 190 bhp max power and 320 Nm peak torque while mated to a six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic gearbox with an all-wheel-drive configuration having different driving modes. The German automaker will be discontinuing the diesel powertrain. In terms of performance, the VW Allspace will sprint from 0-100 kmph in 8.2 seconds with its petrol powertrain compared to the 9.6 seconds of the outgoing diesel engine powered SUV. 


Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Exterior Updates

Compared to the outgoing Tiguan, not many changes have been made in the Tiguan Allspace SUV. Riding on 18-inch alloy wheels, it will come with LED DRLs and a panoramic sunroof. 


Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Interior Updates

Compared to its predecessor, the VW Allspace is a seven-seater SUV featuring new Vienna leather seats along with an active info display. It will also offer three-zone climate control for both front and rear passengers. Other highlighted features include a touchscreen infotainment system and a multifunction steering wheel.


Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace Safety Features

It will offer a host of safety features that will include seven airbags including knee airbags, ABS, ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme), TPMS (Type Pressure Monitoring System), and reverse parking camera with sensors.
