We bring you the details of waiting periods for various mid-size hatchbacks in leading cities of India.

We recently brought details of waiting time in India on compact and mid-size SUVs to you and now here are the details of the waiting time on mid-size hatchbacks in the Indian market. The options on the mid-size hatchback segment in India range from Maruti Suzuki Swift, Ford Figo, Ford Freestyle, and Hyundai Grand i10. Talking of the best seller in the segment first, the Maruti Suzuki Swift commands a waiting time of 45 days in Pune and nearly a month in the region of Delhi-NCR. Whereas cities like Ahmedabad and Surat have almost no waiting on Swift.

Moving on to other options ion the segment one finds Ford Figo, Ford Freestyle and Hyundai Grand i10. These cars have almost zero or very less waiting time in NCR or even in other parts of the country for that matter. What matters is that the waiting time on these cars is very less when compared to the segment leader Maruti Swift.  

The data shown below on the waiting time on different models is only indicative and not very definitive because the data can differ based on the variant and the color of the car selected.

The waiting period for each car also differs if one looks at different regions of the country, but the only hatchback that has an almost constant waiting period is the Hyundai Grand i10 that commands almost no or very low waiting period throughout the country.
