Aprilia SXR 160 launched in India at Rs 1.26 Lakhs
Piaggio India has launched the Aprilia SXR 160 at a price of Rs 1.26 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Mechanically, it is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, 3 valve fuel injection engine. The motor delivers 10.8 bhp of maximum power while being linked to a CVT gearbox. Furthermore, It comes with a 7-litre fuel tank capacity. Read More.
2021 Audi A4 bookings start in India
Audi India has commenced the bookings for the fifth-gen 2021 Audi A4 at a token amount of Rs 2 Lakhs in the country. The new sedan can be booked at all Audi India dealerships and on the official company website. Under the bonnet, it is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder TFSI petrol engine which will deliver a top power of 190bhp. Read More.
Toyota Fortuner facelift to launch on January 6, 2021
Toyota Kirloskar Motors is all set to launch the Fortuner facelift in India on January 6, 2021. The SUV made its global debut earlier this year. The variant details of the SUV have been leaked online ahead of the official launch. It will be offered in a total of two trims - Standard and Legender. A total of 10 variants will be on offer. Out of the 10 variants, 9 will be for the Standard trim while one variant will be for the Legender trim. Read More.
BMW 3-Series Limousine Launch Date is 21st January 2021
BMW India has announced the launch date of the 3-Series long-wheelbase (LWB) version as 21st of January 2021 in the country. Dubbed as BMW 3 Series Limousine, it is already on sale in China. Performance-wise, it will come with a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. Read More.
Nissan Magnite XE waiting period increases
Nissan India launched the Magnite subcompact at an introductory price of Rs 4.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Since launch, the SUV has received quite a good response. It has crossed the 15,000 booking mark. Tata Altroz turbo petrol to be launched on 13th January 2021
Tata Altroz turbo petrol will be launched on 13th January 2021 in the country. It will retail at a premium of Rs 1 lakh over the standard petrol model. Also, we can expect it to become the first Tata model to come equipped with a DCT automatic unit (Dual-Clutch Transmission). Furthermore, the Altroz Turbo will not get any feature update. Read More.
Honda Civic and CR-V discontinued in India
Honda Cars India has stopped the production of Civic and CR-V due to the closure of its facility in Greater Noida. The company, as a part of a realignment of its manufacturing operations, has decided to consolidate the production operations for vehicles and components at its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan with immediate effect for all domestic sales and exports.
