The Government of India (GoI) has pledged to make the country all-electric by 2030, which is merely a decade away from now. Though, the leading automakers have already pulled up their socks in accordance with the government policies by starting work on a range of new electric vehicles. The two-wheeler EV revolution has been building up for quite some time in India and we have seen plenty of electric bikes and scooters hitting the roads. However, as far as four-wheelers are concerned, there is still a long way to go but we can expect several new electric cars and SUVs in the coming months in the Indian market. Today is World EV Day and it calls for a comprehensive list of electric cars and SUVs launching in the Indian market in near future.
Tata Altroz Electric
Tata Altroz electric had its world premiere at the 2019 Geneva Auto Show while its Indian premiere was held at the 2020 Auto Expo in February.
