GMC has given the Acadia SUV a mid-cycle refresh and the new SUV has been revealed
GMC is a very popular brand in the US as well as in the UAE market. The American carmaker has come up with a facelift of the GMC Acadia SUV that comes with cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior along with new features and even revised mechanicals to make it fresh in the market amongst the growing competition.
The GMC Acadia used to come with a 3.6-litre V6 and 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engines. Now, the American carmaker has added a new engine option. It now comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with cylinder deactivation tech. The new engine produces a maximum power output of 233 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes with a new 9-speed automatic transmission.
It now comes with electronically controlled gear selector that frees up some space near the centre console. The suspension has been tweaked for better ride and handling. There eBoost brake system as standard that improves the braking performance of this SUV. The front and rear profile has been tweaked to look updated along with new alloys on offer.
