BMW has officially launched the 2024 M4 Competition M xDrive in the Indian market. The luxury automaker unveiled the M4 Competition in global markets in January 2024. The brand said that the high-performance coupe will be brought to Indian shores via the Completely Built-Up (CBU) route. The new model is available at a price of INR 1.53 crore (ex-showroom). The new coupe is around INR 5 lakh more expensive than the outgoing model. Interested customers can reserve the BMW M xDrive coupe online or via BMW's dealership network. The car gets notable changes in the form of cosmetic enhancements, an updated cabin, and mechanical updates.
The 2024 BMW M4 Competition M xDrive comes equipped with revamped bumper along with adaptive LED headlights and LED taillights that take inspiration from the brand’s M4 CSL. The car retains the same massive grille, and it now has a horizontal double slat design along with a black finish. The luxury car maker BMW is also offering an M graphic for the back and front as an option. The M4 Competition sports a carbon fiber roof that lowers the center of gravity. It is equipped with gloss blue brake calipers and M-forged double-spoke wheels.

The BMW M4 Competition comes loaded with a range of updated features like M sport seats, M adaptive suspension, 3-zone climate control, adaptive active seat ventilation, LED headlamps, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch touchscreen, a reversing assistant, a heads-up display, and a rearview camera.
Inside the cabin, the M4 Competition M xDrive features a new M leather steering wheel along with carbon fiber accents. Buyers can also select the M Alcantara steering wheel. The BMW M4 Competition comes equipped with a new flat-bottom steering system and revamped software for the 12.3-inch digital instrument display and 14.9-inch central touchscreen.
Powering the M4 Competition is an S58 turbocharged 3.0-litre 6-cylinder engine that generates power of 523 bhp at 6,250 rpm and peak torque of 650 Nm at 2,750 to 5,370 rpm. The unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic and the brand’s xDrive 4-wheel drive system. The luxury car maker claims that the M xDrive can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
