BMW India has just launched the X3 M at an introductory price of Rs 99.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). X3 M is retailed through all authorized BMW dealerships in the country as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU). The design, styling and M specific features lend a sporty appeal to the SUV. It is sold in Donington Grey, Toronto Red, Phytonic Blue, Sophisto Grey, Black Sapphire and Alpine White colour options.
Talking in detail about the design, the BMW X3 M exterior retains the distinctive muscular styling of BMW X models. The front profile boasts of BMW signature kidney grille with black double bars which is further integrated into the air breathers. Other noticeable design elements are a long wheelbase, hexagonal wheel arches, short overhang. The X3 M rides on 20-inch light-alloy wheels. Its M design leads to a reduction in aerodynamic drag in the new model.

As for the interior, the new BMW model is luxurious as ever with M-style cockpit design which is the highlight over here. Thus the cabin boasts of electrically adjustable sports seats, Vernasca leather upholstery, 12.3-inch M-specific instrument cluster, ambient lighting, BMW virtual assistant, multi-function steering wheel, BMW gesture control, wireless charging, panorama sunroof among many others.
Moving on to the performance figures and it is stunning, to say the least. The new BMW X3 M is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line petrol engine. The powerplant delivers a whopping 473 bhp of power and 600 Nm of peak torque. It comes equipped an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic and an all-new new M xDrive all-wheel-drive system. The newly launched SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.2 seconds and has a top speed electronically limited to 250 kmph.
Safety features on-board include front, side & head airbags, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Cruise Control, Dynamic Brake Control among others. The German automaker is further offering adaptive LED headlights, BMW live cockpit professional, high Beam assistant and parking assistant as part of the standard package with the model.
