Bajaj Pulsar Range is now BS6 Compliant with the addition of BS6 Pulsar 180F

Bajaj Auto gained a foothold in the Indian motorcycle market with its highly popular Pulsar series of bikes. With the new stringent BS6 vehicular emission norms coming into force from 24th April 2020, Bajaj has revamped the engines of its Pulsar series. Bajaj Auto has launched Pulsar 180F complying with the new BS6 emission norms thus making the Pulsar series fully BS6 compliant. The BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 180F gets a price hike around Rs 11,000 over the BS4 model and will now set you back by Rs 1,07,827 (Ex-showroom), Delhi.

New Bajaj Pulsar 180’s engine now comes with electronic fuel injection instead of the carburettor. Powered by a 178.6cc SOHC, 4-valve, DTS-i engine it generates the same power and torque output as the old BS4 engine. Power comes out to be 16.8 bhp and peak torque of 14 Nm linked to a 5-speed transmission. There are no visual updates on the newly launched BS6 2020 Bajaj Pulsar 180F. The motorcycle features a 3D Pulsar logo on the fuel tank, digital instrument cluster and offers coloured highlights over the tank and bikini fairing. 

Conventional telescopic forks and 5-way adjustable twin nitrox shock absorbers are present at the front and rear respectively to handle the suspension duties. If we talk about the safety part, the setup includes a 230 mm rear disc, 280 mm front disc, and a single-channel ABS. 

 

Bajaj Pulsar BS6

 

The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has made the new Bajaj Pulsar 180F BS6 available in two colour options - Black/Red and Neon Orange for the Indian customers. It directly competes with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 180 BS6 which is priced around Rs 1.01 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) Delhi.
