Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon BS6 gets a second price hike; draws power from the same engine.

Bajaj Auto recently hiked the price of the BS6 Pulsar 150. The company has now given a price hike of Rs 999 to BS6 Pulsar 150 Neon. Bajaj launched the BS6 version of the Pulsar 150 Neon earlier this year at a cost of Rs 85,536 (ex-showroom). The bike received its first price hike of Rs 4467 in the month of May. Now after its second price hike, the most affordable model in the Pulsar 150 range is available for Rs 91,002 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. 

Dimensionally, the motorcycle is 2055mm in length, 755mm in width and has a wheelbase of 1320 mm. It also provides a ground clearance of 165 mm. In terms of features, the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon gets a wolf-eyed headlamp. The rear end caters to signature dual tail lights. The extended fuel tank shrouds and the rear cowl gives the bike a sporty appeal. The Pulsar 150 Neon is a perfect city commuter as it comes with an upright seating position, that ensures utter comfort to the rider. Other  highlights includes a semi-digital instrument cluster that displays information such as speed, odometer, trip meter, fuel level indicator, and a clock.

Braking duty is taken care of by a 240 mm disc upfront and 130 mm drum towards the rear. Suspension on this two-wheeler comprises of telescopic forks at the front with anti-friction bush and 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber at the rear. The bike is available in three color options namely Neon Red, Neon Silver, and Neon Lime Green. 

Pulsar 150 Neon Back

Mechanically, the BS6 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon is powered by the same 149.5cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is found on other models in the Pulsar 150 range. The engine comes equipped with twin spark plug and fuel injection for better efficiency and performance. Furthermore, the engine churns out 14 bhp power and 13.4 Nm torque, linked to a 5-speed gearbox.
