Chinese automaker CF Moto has unveiled a new bike which they plan to introduce in the Indian bike market by the end of the next year.

CF Moto has unveiled the 700 CL-X, which is the company’s latest scrambler style offering for the Indian bike market is making headlines.

CF Moto, a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer that had already started its India operation with the launch of four motorcycles way back in July 2019.

The motorcycle will be available in three variants- CL-X Heritage, CL-X Adventure and CL-X Sport.

The adventure model boasts spoke wheels that are wrapped in dual-sport knobby tyres. As with most of the adventure motorcycles, the model gets raised handlebars that suits long stretches of touring. The presence of large windscreen helps to protect riders from windblast at high speeds. The pannier come as an optional equipment.

The Heritage model sports a tanned leather seat, a gold detailing with dual-tone paint scheme that really adds to the overall looks of the motorcycle. The motorcycle has a comfortable riding position due to the presence of wide handlebars and neutral set foot pegs.

Lastly, the sport variant features a single-tone paint scheme that looks quite attractive. The low-set clip- on and revised seat setup gives the rider an aggressive riding stance. This variant also gets Pirelli Diablo Rosso Super Corsas tyres that are perfect for the track sessions.

When talking about features, all three variants gets LED headlight at the front and back, an LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and also a cruise control.

What brings life into the machine is the 692.2cc parallel-twin motor which put out 75PS of power and 66.6Nm of torque.

The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox that has a slipper clutch too.

While the Upside-Down Forks in Sport variant seems to be derived from 650MT model, the other two models – Adventure, Heritage gets new set of USD forks. The safety is given a priority as the bike gets dual-channel ABS as a standard.

Overall, the bike seems promising and is expected to rival Benelli Leoncino and the entry-level Ducati Scrambler!
