Citroen India is all set to launch the C5 Aircross in the country on April 7. The bookings for the SUV will begin from today onwards at a token amount of Rs 50,000. The interested buyers booking the premium SUV between March 1 - April 6 will get a free warranty of 5 years/50,000 kms. Talking about the deliveries, they will begin from the second week of April onwards. As for the price, the C5 Aircross is expected to fall in the range of Rs 30 lakhs - Rs 33 lakhs (ex-showroom). Besides these, the brand will be targeting 300 units of C5 Aircross per month initially. There are a total of 10 dealerships across the country wherein each dealership will be getting a target of 30 units.
In terms of design, the Citroen C5 Aircross will feature split LED headlamps along with a grille upfront. The grille will further house LED DRLs. In addition, the premium SUV will flaunt fog lamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, and large air intakes. The rear end will boast wraparound LED tail-lamps. Furthermore, the SUV will ride on 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
We can expect Citroen to equip the C5 Aircross with premium features. The feature list includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, powered driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof and wireless charging among many others. The safety kit comprises 6 airbags, front & rear parking cameras, 3-point seat belts for all occupants, ABS, ESP, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
Under the bonnet, the Citroen C5 Aircross houses a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The engine churns out a maximum power of 177 bhp and a peak torque of 400 Nm while being mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
