The facelifted Go will go on sale in Indonesia early next month and it will make its way to India this year.
The car that will be sold in Indonesian markets will get a CVT automatic transmission as an option,
alongside the standard five-speed manual. The CVT automatic, however, may not make it here.
There are new front and rear bumpers, tweaked front fog lamp mounts, a wider grille, new headlamps
(from the Cross), new alloy wheels and indicators integrated in the outside mirrors. The car caught
testing is wearing a body kit that gets sportier front and rear bumpers, side skirts and a large rear
spoiler. The Cross’ instrument panel and circular AC vents make their way to this car but the
touchscreen infotainment system is not likely.
The same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that makes 68hp and 104Nm will continue.
MG Hector India was spotted testing one of its future SUVs named Maxus D90-based which would most probably be launched by the end of the year 2020.
