The car won’t get the new 2.0-litre diesel engine available in international markets though.

Sold abroad as the Everest, the facelifted Endeavour has been spotted testing in Australia and Thailand and it will go on sale by mid-2018 abroad and make its way to India at the start of 2019.

The car gets minor tweaks on the outside, which includes a reworked radiator grille, slightly protruding fog lamp inserts on the front bumper, a silver finish for the lower part of the front bumper and new six-spoke alloy wheels. The cabin will see more equipment, like passive keyless entry and a push-button start feature.

The car abroad will see the debut of a brand-new 2.0-litre diesel engine, which was first introduced internationally on the Ford Ranger pickup, along with a new 10-speed automatic transmission. However, the Indian Endeavour won’t get the engine or the gearbox, according to Ford India officials. The current engine line-up, which includes a 160hp/385Nm, 2.2-litre diesel and a 200hp/470Nm, 3.2-litre diesel will continue, but upgraded to meet BS-VI emission norms.
