Gaurav Gupta is now MG Motor India’s new Chief Commercial Officer - Customer Experience & Marketing (CEM). The carmaker also announced the appointment of three other automobile industry executives who will be tasked with leading sales, service and customer care.

Gupta was earlier at Bridgestone Tire Indonesia where he was the President Director. At MG, he will oversee the marketing, sales, customer delight and dealer development functions. Gupta is a General Motors veteran, where he served as the Director, Utility Vehicles & Strategic Planning, from 2010 to 2011, and before that as Director - Marketing & Product Planning from 2007 to 2010. He was also president director at GM Indonesia for two years from August 2015.

Gaurav brings rich industry experience in customer-facing areas, which are critically important for success in India. With these senior-level appointments, MG Motor India aims to build a strong foundation for its future operations.
