Booking for Hero-Harley Davidson X440 to conclude on August 3, with a price increase on the horizon

Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have decided to close the booking window for the X440 motorcycle due to robust demand. The customer response has been overwhelmingly positive, establishing the X440 as the most affordable Harley globally. Recently launched in India, the Harley-Davidson X440 offers three different versions, marking a long-awaited addition to their lineup.

Earlier this month, Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson jointly unveiled their collaborative project, the X440 motorcycle, which has garnered immense popularity among customers, being recognized as the most affordable Harley worldwide.

Harley-Davidson Booking Window Closing Date-

Due to the overwhelming response and an abundance of customer bookings, Hero has decided to close the booking window for the Harley-Davidson X440 on August 3, 2023. The company plans to announce the next booking window at a later date but anticipates a price increase for the motorcycle.

Although the exact number of bookings received for the X440 remains undisclosed by Hero MotoCorp, the company is geared up to initiate nationwide test rides for pre-booked customers starting from September 1. Customers who booked the X440 online before August 3 will receive priority for deliveries, which are scheduled to commence from October, following the original timeline. Hero ensures that the deliveries will be sequenced based on the order of booking dates.

Niranjan Gupta, the CEO of Hero MotoCorp, expressed his delight in witnessing the escalating number of inquiries and bookings for the Harley-Davidson X440. He attributed the overwhelming response to the deep-rooted brand affinity and trust that riding enthusiasts have for both Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp. Gupta emphasized their commitment to providing a superior riding experience with outstanding power, performance, and overall value proposition.

Hero MotoCorp's manufacturing facility in Neemrana, Rajasthan, will be responsible for producing the new single-cylinder Harley motorcycle. The company is taking proactive steps to ramp up production capacity to meet the substantial demand for the X440 model.
