Hero Electric has partnered with Even Cargo to deploy 10,000 women-only delivery electric fleet by 2025 in India. The fleet will be allocated across major Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. The collaboration envisages women at the riding end to fasten the electric mobility adoption vision and increase penetration in low-income communities. Hero Electric will provide on-demand, special training sessions to the women riders and their family members. Just so you know, Even Cargo is the country's first women-only delivery platform.
The training sessions of Hero Electric will include road readiness of the vehicle, repairs, and basic know-how of re-boot and will be extended to family members too. It further ensures the support of reliable financial institutions associated with Hero Electric to women with no credit history with assured bank accounts. The training sessions will provide necessary information on loans, interest rates, and subsidies to women riders and their family members. Targeting a 65 percent B2B market share, it is still an uphill journey for Hero to catalyse emission-free mobility and reduce carbon footprints. Hero Electric is cohesively building inking partnerships to electrify India and further its eco-friendly aspirations.
