Ahead of global electrification, Indian auto giants, one after the other, are lining up their new EV models ahead of new-year with sumptuous features. Honda Cars performed the same stint by teasing an image of a new EV concept car. The company is all buckled up to be the game-changer in EV game with the upcoming EV models. This newly teased EV is going to be unveiled in Las Vegas, U.S. at the Consumer Electronics Show starting from January 9. The new global EV lineup is in the wake of the automaker’s objective to bring 30 thoroughly EV cars by the end of 2030. The very first hint towards this EV objective is teased up to be a concept version.
The carmaker recently debuted the Prologue Electric SUV, which is anticipated to set its foot in the country earliest by next year. Honda also unraveled 2 more concept electric vehicles currently called Sustaina-C Concept and CI-MEV self-driving micro-mobility vehicle. In these two, the Sustaina-C Concept is equipped with body panels that are developed from acrylic resin which is both recycled and reused.

The teased up image of the concept car by the automaker reveals a glance of the new global electric vehicles. The image depicts a flat surface, a slanted nose, lip spoiler, and sharply shaped light bar of the concept EV. The image shows an impression that this concept EV is going to get low ground clearance but will have a sporty boxy look.
The company as of now hasn’t unveiled enough about the forthcoming EV models. Furthermore, Honda had earlier commented, “Several key technologies that illustrate the significant transformation Honda is currently undergoing.” Honda wants to sell only EVs by 2040.
Till now, there is no specific clarity on the forthcoming EV models that Honda is in plan to debut in global markets, though, a bare minimum of one vehicle is sure-shot to be launched within the span of next couple of years. Honda Cars had earlier suggested that it is planning to launch an all-electric variant of the Elevate compact SUV in the country by 2026. The President and CEO of Honda Cars, Takuya Tsumura spoke that the Japanese carmaker is thinking of bringing the Elevate EV among other 5 new models for the country in the next upcoming 6 years. The company as of now is presently focussing on the sports utility vehicle segment with the introduction of its 1st compact model within India.
