Hyundai Verna Facelift to launch soon with cosmetic updates and BSVI compliant engines.

As part of a mid-cycle update, Hyundai Motor India is all set to introduce 2020 Verna Facelift into the automobile market. The New Hyundai Verna gets a milder facelift along with a significantly sharper design similar to its elder sibling Elantra. Expected to hit the road in the next few months, this mid-size sedan offers more mulla than before.

Hyundai Verna Facelift Expected Price & Launch Details:

Hyundai is expected to launch the Verna facelift in April 2020 in the Indian market. Competing against the likes of Honda City, Skoda Rapid, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Toyota Yaris and Volkswagen Vento, this mid-size sedan is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 8 lakhs- Rs 14 lakhs  (ex-showroom) India.


Hyundai Verna Facelift Exterior Updates:

This mid-size sedan has received a substantial makeover in terms of styling. Upfront, it features the signature “cascading grille” with chrome trim along with a larger headlamp clusters thus giving it a sporty and aggressive look. The facelifted Verna comes with projector headlamps, turn indicators and parking lamps with crystal-effect inserts and chrome lining. It flaunts a front bumper having black plastic and stain grey bits thus giving it a refreshed look. The rear end features a revised rectangular bumper, a dual-tone faux diffuser, vertically placed reflector inserts along with a satin aluminum trim. It also features a revised boot that comes fitted with a thin LED strip running between the newly designed taillamps. All set to ride on the newly-designed diamond cut alloys with dual-tone rims.  

 

Hyundai Verna Facelift Interior Updates:

The cabin retains the black and beige interior outlay and flaunts an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is also expected to get the BlueLink Connectivity features that include an in-built sim, phone connectivity, remote connectivity along with emergency services. Other highlighted equipment list include ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, a smart trunk, and cruise control. It also offers a plethora of safety features that include six airbags, ABS with EBD along with ISOFIX.

 

Hyundai Verna Facelift Engine Specification:

Under the hood, Hyundai Verna facelift for the Indian market will be powered by a BSVI compliant 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engine options mated to either manual or automatic transmissions. The 1.5-litre diesel engine will be available with a 6-speed torque converter gearbox whereas the 1.5-litre petrol option will come with CVT as an option.


Hyundai Verna Facelift Mileage:

Hyundai Verna facelift comes with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine offers an ARAI claimed mileage of 17.7 kmpl while the diesel engine delivers an ARAI claimed mileage of 25.5 kmpl.
