Ahead of Kia Inaugural EV Day Event happening on October 12, 2023, EV6 is the model currently being sold in India. Although, the name of EV starts from EV1 and EV2 but India only has EV6 as of now for sale.

In India, Kia has trademarked 8 EVs, and these vehicles are anticipated to debut there in the upcoming years. The names of the EVs go from EV1 to EV2, starting with EV1. Although just one of these models—the EV6 crossover—is now available in India, the other two models are available worldwide. As of right now, we can say with certainty that the EV9 model, the company's flagship model, will debut in India at some stage in 2024.

Expected Kia’s EV Future in India

The Kia EVs that will be introduced in India include the EV1 to EV9 because the EV6 is currently available there. The company's entry-level electric vehicle, the EV1, may be quite cost-effective when compared to the EV6. The EV5 is already in the works at the company and will go on sale in China soon. After that, it will be introduced to international markets.

Since October 12 is Kia's EV Day, we have high hopes that Kia will make an announcement. Recently, the firm was seen testing a SUV similar to Seltos in size that will be sold as an electric vehicle (EV) in foreign markets. The vehicle is anticipated to be an EV4. Well, we have to be patient till Kia’s EV Day in order to acquire confirmation about that.

The outline of an EV6-like coupe crossover with distinctive LED lighting and some similarities may be seen in the Kia teaser.

We anticipate Kia will reveal details about the launch schedule in addition to showcasing its forthcoming EVs for the worldwide market at the upcoming event.
