Currently codenamed QYi, this particular compact SUV will be the third offering for the Indian market. Considering that both Kia Motors and Hyundai Motor India are sister concerns, the new Kia compact SUV will share its chassis with that of Hyundai Venue. It is to be noted that according to these sketches the exterior design of the compact SUV will be modern, dynamic and bold. Breaking it down further, upfront there is Kia's trademark Tiger grille that forms the center point. Around it is the muscular hood alongside which there is a wide air dam and vertical air dams on either side. The headlamp design in particular has been kept simple with LED daytime-running lights while the fog lamp clusters receive matte silver inserts.

The side profile of Kia (QYi) compact SUV Concept depicts flared wheel arches, a black plastic cladding that runs right across, pair of roof rails and elegant looking alloy wheels. Meanwhile the tailgate stands to feature a rear spoiler, horizontally placed taillights that are seamlessly connected via an LED strip. The rear bumper for that matter provides a black plastic insert and in order to give it a beefed-up look there is the presence of a silver skid plate as well.

Engines powering Kia QYi compact SUV could be a 1.0 litre turbo-petrol unit followed by a 1.2 litre petrol and a 1.5 litre turbo diesel. At present, Kia Motors has not divulged information about the interior's as we expect this Compact SUV to be launched towards the second half of 2020.
