The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 compact SUV has been tested in wind tunnel at Pininfarina's test facility in Italy.

Mahindra is all set to launch their latest UV in their lineup, the Mahindra XUV300. The Indian automaker says the styling of the XUV300 has also been derived from the Cheetah just like the XUV500. The SsangYong Tivoli based XUV300 has been tested recently in a wind tunnel for its aerodynamics at Pininfarina's facility in Italy.

Mahindra has released a video showing the aerodynamics of the XUV300 in the wind tunnel. However, the Indian carmaker hasn't released any data of its aerodynamics yet. Powering the Mahindra XUV300 is a 1.5-litre diesel engine which we recently saw in the Marazzo MPV. This engine produces 123 BHP of power and 300 Nm of peak torque.

The Mahindra XUV300 will be launched in India on 15th February and it'll be competing with the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and the likes. The compact SUV is expected to get some premium convenience and safety features like 7 airbags, sunroof, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, etc.
