At Automobile Barcelona 2017 (formerly the Barcelona International Motor Show) in Spain, Mahindra had its entire line-up on display, including a limited-edition version of its XUV500.
The car features a Sunset Orange paint shade, complemented with blacked out roof, roof rails, pillars and mirrors. It also featured new-design black alloy wheels. On the inside, the display car came with infotainment displays for the second row that were integrated into the driver and passenger seat-backs.
The SUV was only displayed in its top-spec W10 trim. Under the hood of this variant sits a 2.2-litre mHawk140 turbo-diesel engine that puts out 140hp of peak power and 330Nm of torque. The display car had a six-speed manual transmission.
There’s no word on whether this limited edition will make its way to India, but we can safely assume that it will be considered. Expect the dual-tone XUV500 to be priced at a slight premium over the standard W10 variant, which starts at ₹16.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the front-wheel-drive manual gearbox car.
