Maruti Super Carry merely took a time of five year to cross the 1 Lakh units sale in India

Maruti Suzuki has achieved a new sales milestone by cumulatively retailing 1 Lakh units of the Super Carry mini-truck in the country. It merely took a time of five year to cross the 1 Lakh units sale in the Indian market. Maruti Super Carry is the only mini-truck in India to be powered by a 4-cylinder engine while available in both petrol-only and CNG versions. The company entered the commercial vehicle segment in 2016 with the Super Carry and it is sold across the country via Maruti's 335+ commercial outlets in more than 237 cities.

Maruti Super Carry comes equipped with several modern features such as reverse parking sensors, seat belt reminder, a lockable glove box, a mobile charging socket, and a light steering wheel. Under the bonnet, it has a 4-cylinder petrol engine which develops top power of 72 bhp at 6000 rpm and peak torque of 98 Nm at 3000 rpm. There is also a dual fuel S-CNG variant with a 5L petrol tank. The mini-truck boasts of a 2183mm long and 1488mm wide deck area while the payload capacity stands at 740 kgs. It has a ground clearance of 175 mm with MacPherson struts as front suspension and a rigid axle with leaf springs as rear suspension. The Super Carry can be serviced through 3800+ Maruti Suzuki service centers across India.
