Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza continues to hit new heights in the Indian market. As per the new information disclosed by the manufacturer, the sub-compact SUV reached a milestone of 5.5 lakh units sales since its inception back in 2016. Earlier this year, BS6 version of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was introduced during the Auto Expo 2020. A facelift with upgraded exterior design, the 2020 Brezza caters to a new 4 cylinder 1.5 litre K-series petrol engine. Prior to this introduction, the Brezza used to come in a diesel avtar however due to it BS4 iternation the homegrown automaker decided to discontinue the model altogether. As of now there is no word whether or not a new diesel powertrain would be in the offering. That apart, the new version has sold more than 32,000 units within 6 months of its launch. Vitara Brezza's competition in the domestic market are Hyundai Venue, recently-launched Kia Sonet and the upcoming Nissan Magnite. Its base variant is priced at Rs 7. 34 lakhs (ex-showroom), Delhi with the top-end coming at Rs 11.15 lakhs (ex-showroom), Delhi.

Talking about the design updates, 2020 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza features elements like new LED headlamps with Day Time Running Lamps (DRL's), refreshed front grille, dual-tone roof, elegant looking alloys, LED tail lights among others. As for the performance, the 1.5-litre petrol unit delivers a maximum power output of 103 bhp with 138 Nm torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed torque converter gearbox. According to Maruti, the Brezza petrol provide a mileage figure of 18.76 kmpl for the automatic while the manual returns 17.03 kmpl.
