The car is available in three trims – Diesel, GranLusso and GranSport.

The car is priced from Rs 1.34 crore to Rs 1.45 crore (ex-showroom, India) and the new Ghibli is offered in three variants – Diesel, GranLusso and GranSport. Powering these cars is the same Euro-VI-compliant, 3.0-litre, V6 diesel engine as the previous model.

Using AdBlue and start-stop technology, these engines make 275hp and 600Nm and send power via an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The company says the car can hit 100kph in a time of 6.3sec and can go on to hit a top speed limited to 250kph.

While there aren’t too many changes to the new car in comparison to the outgoing version, the higher-spec GranLusso and GranSport trims feature new adaptive LED headlamps, the Skyhook adaptive suspension system and the Integrated Vehicle Control system (IVC), along with Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS). Maserati also sells the 2018 Quattroporte GTS at about Rs 2.7 crore and the new Levante SUV at Rs 1.45 crore in India.
