Mercedes Benz India sold 4101 units to the customers in September this year

Mercedes Benz India has added another feather to its hat by registering a 99 percent sales growth in Q3 2021. The German automaker successfully delivered 4101 units to the customers in September this year. In comparison to these numbers, Mercedes sold a total of 2058 cars in the Indian market in the July-September period last year. Talking about the January-September 2021 period, a total number of 8958 units were sold. Having said this, Mercedes India witnessed a whopping 78 percent growth over 5007 units sold in the same period last year.

“Mercedes-Benz’s strong YTD sales growth which is highlighted by a robust recovery in customer demand specifically in Q3 2021, is backed by a combination of new product line-up and also bullish market sentiments. We have built a strong order bank for most of our new and existing products and are striving hard to hand over these cars to the customers on time. We expect the upcoming festive season to continue this sale momentum and create additional demand. “We already have crossed our 2020 numbers in the first nine months this year, and the current market momentum gives us confidence for the festive season.

Our product offensive for the Indian market this year is far from over and the customers can expect some of the most exciting vehicles lined up for their India debut this quarter. It will be our endeavor to produce as many cars as possible to cater to the unprecedented demand, secure our supply chain, and continue to mitigate the current challenges faced by the entire auto industry. We are cautiously optimistic with our sales outlook for the upcoming months,” as commented by Martin Schwenk, Managing Director & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India.

Moving on, the brand even witnessed a continuous v-shaped recovery after the pandemic had affected the second quarter (April-June). Now after the economic activities become stable, we could literally see the sales bounce back in the third quarter. Mercedes Benz's strong sales growth accounts for the robust recovery in customer demand especially in Q3 2021. This whole thing is backed by a new product line-up. With the upcoming festive season, we can expect Mercedes to continue this sales momentum and create additional demand.
