MG Windsor EV Variant-Wise Price List Revealed; Prices Start at INR 13.50 Lakh

The Windsor CUV is positioned between the MG Comet EV and the MG ZS EV in the brand’s lineup.

JSW MG Motor India rolled out the much-awaited Windsor EV in India on September 11, 2024, as its first intelligent CUV (crossover utility vehicle). Now, the auto giant has revealed the trim-wise prices of the Windsor EV. The new electric CUV is available at a starting price of INR 13.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the MG Windsor EV will start on October 3, 2024. 

In the brand’s EV lineup, the Windsor CUV is placed between the MG Comet EV and the MG ZS EV. This crossover utility vehicle combines the spaciousness and comfort of an SUV with sedan-like comfort. MG Motor offers the Windsor electric vehicle in three variants: Excite, Essence, and Exclusive.

MG Windsor EV Exterior

The Windsor EV is packed with features like LED DRLs, vertically integrated LED headlight units, a front-charging inlet, a curved silhouette, flush door handles, and 18-inch alloy wheels. As for the dimensions, the Windsor CUV measures 1,652 mm in height, 4,295 mm in length, and 1,850 mm in width. It has a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, providing more rear seat space.

Talking about the cabin, the MG Windsor EV houses amenities like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a floating 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an 8.8-inch driver display. The cabin is covered in an all-black theme followed by copper inserts and receives lounge-like reclining rear seats.

The Windsor CUV also houses other important features like powered front seats, an air filter, automatic AC, rear AC vents, a 9-speaker Infinity sound system, wireless phone charging, a panoramic glass roof, and ambient lighting. As for the passenger’s safety, MG is offering the MG Windsor EV with equipment like ABS with EBD, auto headlights, six airbags, electronic stability control, all four disk brakes, parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, an air-purification system, and Level 2 ADAS.

MG Windsor EV Powertrain

Under the bonnet, the robust Windsor EV is powered by a 38kWh battery pack with an electric motor that is tuned to generate torque of 200 Nm and power of 134 bhp. The battery set enables the EV to offer a certified range of 331 km. The MG Windsor EV launched recently can be charged from 0 to 80 kW in 55 minutes. Additionally, the company is offering a new Battery as a Service (BaaS) program for which customers will have to pay an additional amount of INR 3.5 lakh for the battery rental. 

In a bid to attract more buyers, the company has rolled out attractive offers, including a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, which covers 60% of the repurchase value after three years, or 45,000 km, and free charging at public chargers for the first year using the eHub by MG app.
