Mini Range Gets Added Tech and DCT Gearbox

The range now comes with new LED lighting, a Union Flag design at the rear, and a new dual-clutch auto gearbox.

The company has revamped its hatchback, five-door and convertible models. The range now comes with added goodies - extra standard-fit technology, enhanced customisation options and a new dual-clutch gearbox.

The models will launch first in the UK and will now come with front and rear LED lights as standard and optional matrix LED high beams. As far as the interior is concerned, there is a new three-spoke steering wheel with multifunction buttons and an updated 6.5-inch standard-fit infotainment system. The company offers a Mini Yours Customised service that allows buyers to create bespoke designs for 3D printed trim, illuminated door sills and LED projectors. There are three new colours also available in the range - Emerald Grey, Starlight Blue and Solaris Orange.

A new DCT dual-clutch automatic gearbox is also available now. The seven-speed Steptronic system features an electric gear selector. The Cooper S automatics come with paddleshifters as well. The engines remain unchanged – three petrols and two diesels.
