Carmakers offer attractive discounts in March

Cars such as the Alto, Dzire, BMX X1 and Terrano are available with heavy discounts at local dealerships

Every month, auto dealerships around the country offer new and exciting offers to entice buyers. Here’s a round-up of all the best deals that you can get on hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and MPVs in the market right now.

Hatchbacks

Maruti Celerio
You save: Upto ₹40,000

The petrol manual variants are on offer with a cash discount of ₹20,000 backed by an exchange bonus of ₹25,000. The Celerio CNG and AMT get discounts of ₹40,000 and ₹15,000 respectively. You also get an additional ₹45,000 off at some dealerships.

Maruti Alto 800
You save: Upto ₹45,000

After receiving an update recently, the Alto 800 now comes in new colours. Combined discounts and benefits amounting to ₹45,000 are on offer on select variants.

Fiat Punto Evo
You save: Upto ₹75,000

The new version of the Punto comes with various updates, including a long equipment list and stronger build. The car is available at discounts of up to ₹75,000, for both petrol and diesel models.

Sedans

Renault Scala
You save: Upto ₹90,000

The Renault Scala shares a lot in common with its Nissan Sunny, this discount definitely tips the scale in favour of the Scala. Renault’s spacious sedan is now being offered at a discount of around ₹90,000 at most outlets.

Flat Linea
You save: Upto ₹80,000

As Fiat India chose to begin 2017 with price cuts, you get the Fiat Linea for a more pocket-friendly price than before. Most dealerships will now be selling the Linea on offers ranging around ₹80,000.

Honda City pre-facelift
You save: Upto ₹75,000

After giving the City a facelift, Honda is selling off unsold stock of the pre-facelift collection. Dealers are offering discounts ranging from ₹50,000-75,000, depending on inventory.

Maruti Ciaz diesel
You save: Upto ₹60,000

Rivaling the City, the Ciaz diesel also has some pretty great discounts available. With a spacious cabin, the affordable price-tag really sweetens the deal. Discounts of around Rs 60,000 are on offer on most variants, since a mildly updated model is on the cards.

Maruti Swift Dzire
You save: Upto ₹20,000

Probably one of the most popular cars on the road right now, the Dzire comes packing some neat discounts. A discount of around ₹20,000 is on offer on most variants, depending on availability.

SUVs/ MPVs

Hyundai Santa Fe
You save: Upto ₹2.5 lakh

An updated Santa Fe will be making its way here later this year, but until then Hyundai has introduced some heavy discounts on the SUV model. Depending on availability of stock, most dealerships will be offering a discount upto ₹2.5 lakh.

BMW X1
You save: Upto ₹3 lakh

Likened to the Audi Q3 and Mercedes GLA, the second-gen X1 is a solid buy. One can expect discounts going upto ₹3 lakh at most dealerships, depending on stock.

Honda BR-V petrol
You save: Upto ₹1.2 lakh

The seven-seater rivals the likes of the Creta and the Duster. Business has been slow for the BR-V, so dealers are offering discounts to push sales upto Rs 1 lakh. Bargain a little and you might just close the deal at a decent Rs. 1.2 lakh.

Nissan Terrano
You save: Upto ₹75,000

The Terrano will soon be receiving a facelift, so dealers are in a rush to clear out stock to make way for the new model. The car offers superb ride quality but doesn’t come with AWD. For now, dealers are offering up to Rs 75,000 off on this SUV.

Tata Safari Storme
You save: Upto ₹60,000

The capable Storme is available with a tempting discount of around ₹60,000 on all variants.

Maruti Ertiga
You save: Upto ₹25,000

The popular Ertiga is being offered with a discount of upto ₹25,000 across dealerships in India.  It comes with a choice of petrol and diesel engines and a comfortable and spacious interior.
