Maruti Suzuki is also expected to roll out a CNG version of the upcoming Dzire in the coming time.

The new-generation Maruti Dzire has been recently spotted testing in Pune ahead of its official launch in the Indian market. The automaker is likely to launch the new-generation Suzuki Dzire this festive season. Maruti Suzuki rolled out the fourth-gen Swift in May 2024. Now, the automaker is getting ready to launch the Swift-based new-generation Dzire with advanced features and a robust powertrain. Over the past few months, the third-gen Dzire has been seen testing several times.

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is India’s highest-selling sedan, and it accounts for the brand’s 45% market share. The latest set of spy shots indicates that the upcoming Maruti Dzire is undergoing test runs conducted by ARAI. In the images, the prototype is seen with an emission testing kit attached to its exhaust system.

As seen in the images, the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire will feature new projector headlamps with LED internals. The car’s front fascia is completely revamped with a sportier grille. It is loaded with features like a new air dam, a circular fog lamp, alloy wheels, ORVMs, and a 360-degree camera. At the back, the new Dzire is likely to feature traditional C-shaped tail lamps. It will house advanced features like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a sunroof, and an Arkamys music system.

Just like the new-gen Swift, the Maruti Dzire will come loaded with an ADAS suite, six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program, a hill-hold assist, a 360-degree parking camera, electronic stability control, ABS, and an ISOFIX child seat.

Under the bonnet, the new-gen Maruti Dzire will draw power from a 1.2-litre NA, 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine that churns out power of 80.4 bhp and peak torque of 111.7 Nm. The unit is paired with either a 5-step AMT transmission or a 5-speed manual. Maruti Suzuki is expected to roll out a CNG version of the upcoming Dzire in the coming time.
