The brand has also launched the ‘Nissan One’ web platform to celebrate the significant milestone achieved by the SUV.

Nissan India has marked a new milestone in the country by selling one lakh units of its Magnite SUV since its launch. The Japanese car manufacturer first launched the Magnite in India in 2020. It was unveiled at a starting price of INR 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Currently, it is listed at an initial cost of INR 6 lakh (ex-showroom). Recently, the brand has also launched the ‘Nissan One’ web platform to celebrate this significant milestone achieved by the SUV. The sub-four metre compact SUV has marked this new milestone in a segment that is considered one of the most competitive categories in the Indian PV market.

The Nissan Magnite SUV gives tough competition to the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Tata Nexon, among others. This SUV has played a key role in keeping the company’s business running in India. As of now, Nissan only sells the Magnite model in the Indian market. The brand also exports this SUV to other overseas markets as well.
