Nissan has revealed the variant details of the Magnite SUV ahead of its official launch

Nissan India is all set to launch the Magnite SUV in the country anytime soon. The company had recently rolled out the first unit of the Magnite SUV from its production line in Oragadam, Chennai. Ahead of the official launch, the Japanese automaker has revealed the variant details of the upcoming Magnite subcompact SUV. The SUV will be offered in four grades namely XE, XL, XV and XV Premium. Furthermore, the company is also offering a ‘Tech Pack’ for its tech-savvy customers. This pack is only available with the XV and XV Premium variants.



The base ‘XE’ variant of the Magnite SUV will be offered with 16-inch steel wheels, front & rear faux skid plates, roof rails, all four power windows, dual-tone interior, and a 3.5-inch LCD display. Talking about the mid-spec ‘XL’ trim, customers will get a six-speaker audio system, steering wheel mounted audio controls, automatic climate control, and electrically adjustable & foldable wing mirrors.



While the Magnite XV variant will be offered with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED DRL's & fog lamps, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a 7-inch TFT display for the instrument cluster, voice recognition technology, a reverse camera, and push-button start. In addition to the features present in the XV variant, the top-spec XV Premium trim will cater to LED bi-projector headlamps, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring system, and an all-black interior.



Talking about the ‘Technology Pack’, it includes a wireless charger, air purifier, ambient mood lighting, puddle lamps, and high-end speakers. This particular pack is offered only with the XV and the XV Premium trim.

Nissan Magnite SUV, under the bonnet, will be offered with two petrol engine options. First will be a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol unit that will generate 72 bhp power while being mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. While the second would be a 1.0-litre HRAO turbo petrol engine that will develop 95 bhp power output. This engine will be offered with a 5-speed manual along with a CVT automatic transmission option.
